Kenyan Politician Wanted By The International Criminal Court

KENYA–A member of the national assembly in Kenya, Mr.Aden Duale is now in trouble following remarks he made last week.

Duale was quoted inciting members of his community to attack their neighboring community in Kenya. Kenyan government is said to be reluctant in taking action on Duele but members of the opposition in Kenya have taken the matter to the International Criminal Court based in Netherlands.

In the clip, the Mp asks a group of the youth to drive the community away and prevent them from registering as voters in his home county. “Destroy properties and I will shield you from the law. Chase Kambas away and I will pay your upkeep…” Said Duale.

ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has said that she has enough evidence that Duale is in collaboration with senior officials in the Kenyan Government to intimidate communities belonging to the opposition and the Mp must be charged with “incitement.”

According to our correspondent in Kenya, Duale is the leader of majority in the National assembly and close ally to the Deputy President William Ruto who was once an ICC suspect. Kenyans are said to be bitter with the government over Duale’s remarks and now are pushing the international criminal court to prosecute the Mp since the Director of Public Prosecution and the Inspector of general police are the birds of the same feathers.
